At Angels for Humanity, we believe that even the smallest act of kindness can leave a lasting mark on a child’s heart. Our Joy of Giving program was born from that belief—and since 2006, it has brought light, laughter, and love to tens of thousands of children who might otherwise go without during the holiday season.
This isn’t just a toy drive. It’s a celebration of childhood. It’s a reminder to every child we serve that they are seen, valued, and loved—especially during a time of year when joy should never be a luxury.
Our first Joy of Giving event took place on December 17, 2006, in Miami, where we welcomed 150 children to a celebration filled with food, laughter, music, and gifts. With the help of more than 20 dedicated volunteers, we created a joyful space where children could simply be children—and experience the warmth of the holidays, many for the very first time.
Each year, this program grows in reach and impact. We provide roundtrip transportation so that no child is left behind. From the moment they arrive, our young guests are embraced with love, fun, and unforgettable memories.
A magical meet-and-greet with Santa and his elves, complete with keepsake photos and a heartwarming toy distribution
A sugar-coated paradise with cupcakes, candies, and festive treats
Magicians, DJs, local performers, and beloved artists like Mikaben and J. Perry light up the stage with music and wonder
A carnival-like experience with bounce houses, games, clowns, Disney characters, and classic treats like popcorn, cotton candy, and snow cones
From dance contests to musical chairs, every child has a chance to shine and connect

Many of these children live in heartbreaking poverty, where putting food on the table is a daily struggle—and a holiday gift is out of reach. For them, this is the only Christmas gift they will receive, and it becomes more than a toy: it becomes a symbol of hope, dignity, and love.
$25 provides a toy, a warm meal, and transportation for one child
$100 sponsors a family’s experience at the Joy of Giving event
$500 helps bring entertainment, food, and festivities to entire classrooms
