Leave a Legacy

By leaving a legacy gift, you can ensure that children, not just today, but tomorrow, are served by Angels for Humanity.

Members of our Legacy Society are among our most important supporters because they help secure our future as an organization, enabling us to continue our vital work. Legacy donors make a lasting difference by providing children with the skills and resources they need to lift themselves—and in the future, their families—out of poverty.

What is Legacy Giving?

A planned or “legacy” gift is any gift made as part of your overall financial and/or estate planning. It is a means of making a lasting difference through a cause you care deeply about. A bequest in one’s will is just one of several ways to leave a legacy gift.

How it Works

Your legacy gift can take many forms, the most common being a bequest in your will. A bequest is one of the easiest ways to leave a planned gift, as it is flexible and tailored to meet your specific needs and interests. It is often as simple as adding just a few sentences to your will or living trust. Bequeath property, stocks, specific items, an amount of money or percentage of your estate. You can also list Angels for Humanity as the beneficiaries on a life insurance policy.

Your financial advisor can offer many other options for supporting the organizations you value most. She or he can tell you more about the tax advantages of planned giving.

Making a Bequest

Here is some simple language to include in your will:

I hereby give, devise, and bequeath to Angels for Humanity, Federal Tax I.D. number 84-1813813, a non-profit corporation, organized and operating under the laws of the State of Florida, and located in Florida, the sum of $ (or percentage of your estate or specific description of the gift) to be used by Angels for Humanity in the furtherance of its mission.
